I bought this little 73' Courier about a year ago locally off of Craigslist. It was so clean that I could not pass it up. Has the original owners manual, original purchase order from the dealership (the gentleman traded a 1966 Falcon in for it), radio installation guide, etc. The previous owner had already lowered it and did a great job doing so (dropped the coil buckets down in the original control arms, so it still uses stock height coil springs), 4" blocks in the rear. I added 16" smoothies which I painted body color (helios green?) The truck then mostly sat for about a year, I live in the hills and it's just way to underpowered and not very fun to drive. About a month and a half ago I bought a donor car off of Craigslist. A 1980 Mustang that someone had done a horrible job of swapping a 2.3 turbo out of a 1987 Thunderbird and matching T5 transmission. Over the last month I pulled the 1.8 and 4 speed and installed the Thunderbird engine and transmission. I put a T3/T4 50 trim turbo, front mount intercooler, center mount header, gutted and rotated upper intake, etc. It's now back on the road and finally FUN to drive! As with any hot rod it's a work in progress and many changes will continue, nature of the beast. Thanks for looking! Eric Attachments:

Love it! The motor looks right at home there, snd the 120° intake is a nice touch. What was your driveshaft solution?

Thanks. I just did a 1 piece shaft utilizing the T5 slip yoke and the courier differential flange. Eric.

Beautiful truck! Did you use the factory 2.3 motor mounts or did you have to custom make all your own?

Thanks. I had to custom make engine and transmission mounts. I solid mounted both. Made engine mounts out of 1/4" steel and mounted them where factory power steering and air conditioning would've been. Life has been a bit hectic lately, but when it calms down I plan on posting up all that was involved with pictures. Eric

I noticed the windshield seal/gasket looks really good. Where did you find one? can't seem to find one anywhere!

Do you have specs on those wheels as far as size and offset? They look great!
