Hey all, Here's a quick how to for anyone who might be having trouble removing theirs. I borrowed the pictures from Facebook. On the Passenger side: When I was doing this, I removed all 4 hood screws immediately after taking the pin off the hinge. If you had 2 people that would probably be okay but I had a tough time with it alone. After removing the screws, I 'pushed' the hood towards the drivers side and it popped the the hood bar loose, letting the hood come off. Another, better sounding option is to let the hood open past it's normal stopping point and the rod should fall off on the passenger side. Fair warning, I haven't tried that method.

Just did that last maneuver. Pulled the pin and let the hood tilt forward passed it's normal open position. That releases the tension on the hood bar which then just slides out and the hood can be unscrewed from there. Definitely would recommend getting some help on this because you dont want to accidentally drop it on the plastic grille below.
