Hi all, I've been on the facebook Courier Nation page a while, and was on Courier COllector for a while, but haven't been able to log in. I have 2 couriers, both 72. One is a desert racing courier built by Stroppe and Associates and it's owner, Don Bare and Ray Lynch when it was new. Never street registered. It's currently under resto. It's wins include Score points champion in '75 I believe, or '74. Won Parker 400 and Riverside at least once each and competed in the Baja 500 and 1000. I'd always wanted a courier and bought the racer in pieces, and decided a daily driver COurier is a good idea, so last April bought my red 72 5-speed out of Idaho and brought back to it's native CA. Using it as a guide to put together racer, and as a daily driver for my business restoring old Broncos. Looking forward to figuring out disc brake upgrade on the daily driver and also how to put a choke on the Weber carb on it. Thanks! Andrew

Glad you made the transition to this forum, Andrew! Love the Orange one and can't wait to see the Stroppe Racing in its full glory. Doug from GA

Thanks Doug! I like your green one too! Couriers are awesome. I was just away on a trip and happy to be back driving the red one tomorrow.

Andrew,
I love your trucks. Both are awesome! I hope that you can get them both done. One thing I've noticed about Courier owners is that very few of them ever get their Couriers done. I know that many of us are under economic duress with a poor economy for the working class, but I would sure like to see some of these diamonds in the ruff as show winners taking center stage. I'm hoping that I can continue working on mine until I've got something I can really enjoy and be really proud of. Please keep all of us posted on your progress.
