I just picked up a new valve cover from ebay because mine has a small crack around one of the bolts. My breather is on top of the valve cover, but the "new" one has a tube coming out of the front of it as well as the one on top.
Does anyone know if I can cap the top breather and just use the front one to avoid having to run the hose over the top of the valve cover and kind of clean things up a bit?

You shouldn't have any problems. All those do is get rid of pressure from the top end

Yeah, I just wanted to make sure that tube on the front served the same purpose as the top one. Thanks!

Top is inlet for the front hose/PCV valve setup. It draws fresh air through the air cleaner. If you only had the front or the top, you can run a vented oil filler cap.
