I a have always just under coated inside and out then paint over it then used the regular carpets with their underlayment. Look at places that sell restoration stuff for other cars and look at their under carpet stuff some of it is cheap

I'm going with underlayment and carpet for the floor for sure, but I was thinking this might be good for the doors. I added speakers to the doors and a 10" sub, so I'm pretty sure I'll have to deal with some rattling issues once I get my interior put back together. Just waiting to pull the trigger on a carpet kit...

I looked at the roll material at Lowes when I did this, but was able to find sheets for a lower price on E-Bay. Took a lot of searching though.

When I was in high school I drove this courier around and it had two 6x9 speakers in the doors and a high powered deck. It sounded pretty good for a basic stereo. I don't recall it rattling but I guess the radio was too loud to hear the rattling
