I've been all over trying to find brakes and suspension upgrades. No reason to make it fast if it won't stop or turn

I figure you're going for a disc brake upgrade, but what are you thinking for the suspension?

That's the hang up. Well that and having kids. So now money becomes a factor. Almost did a mustang 2 set up but I didn't spend the money while I had it. I might just be forced to run stock in front with stiffer springs. Looked at a g body set up a dude was selling on clist for 75 bucks with disc brakes and also crown vic swap. Out back stiffer leafs and a 9" I have laying around. So I got this truck back a few years ago. I was in Fresno at the time so it was gonna get a v8 and brake swap. When I moved to Idaho and I have a dragstrip close by it was gonna be a more of a drag race truck. Then I started eye balling Bonneville. Between all that I almost put it on a cj frame and used the courier frame for a old roadster. Too much time to think about it and a mustang project also. Did you ever figure out the oil pressure gauge?

Not yet, I was trying to find a diagram that showed the oil passages, but never found anything. Been mostly working on body work, interior and electrical right now. Body work, so much body work...

That's where the "oh shit" light sensor goes. I was planning on putting mine there while keeping the light functional, but I was having trouble with clearance issues, so maybe I'll just do what pops did.

Little piece of black tape would take care of that "oh shit" light coming on haha...

Actually, would it not come on since it isn't connected? Does the switch not ground when it has pressure, which causes the light to turn off?? I think that's how that works....
