So I found a Derale fan that looks like it would fit. It's a 10" that is 2 1/16 thick, but it's like 80 bucks. Might have to bite the bullet and get one, I couldnt fit the 12" fan in the front of the radiator without cutting some metal. The Derale part # is 16110, hope this helps someone in the future.

could always use a clutched fan from some other app. Those wont spin 100% unless they are really hot.

As for the exhaust, the try-Y that the original manifold offers is a very good design for low end torque, where the truck is supposed to produce the most power. a 4 into 1 header maximizes higher RPM power over a try-Y design. Your best bet is to get the backpressure reduced after the stock manifold, ie a larger pipe or a less restrictive muffler.
