Hello, I'm Wayne from the facebook group and formerly backyard1976 or something from the old forum (I didn't post much). I recently traded my first running courier away and I'm left with my dad's 76 parts truck with a bad frame that I'm trying to decide what to do with. I got rid of the 72 because I didn't feel it could replace our old one and since its a titled truck I'm hesitant to part it out or scrap it when really all that failed was the rear frame due to rust. I'm happy to help others with questions but I'm a young hack of all trades and nothing more, so keep that in mind before taking advice from me. I hope this forum does well and that this will be a good and reliable format as there was a lot of good information (brake swaps, etc.) on the old one that I missed out on during school.
Also I'm graduating in May and might have enough time on my hands to edit the "darkforestcreature"/Ford Courier Collector info pages because they need completion and along with the wikipedia page are about the best source of info for learning about Couriers. Like if you google "Ford Courier that info page is likely the first thing you will read and some of the information/pictures is misleading. Off the top of my head automatics were offered in gen1 72-76 and the picture of an alleged 76 model with the tall guy behind the truck - it's a pre-76 truck. Anyways.
Cheers ya'll.
