Hi all!
I’m a new owner of a 73 ford courier. I fully understand that this is an extremely strange statement- but I can’t seem to find the lever to open the hood of my truck. Actually, I think I have found it but I think the cable that should be attached has broken.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

the release shoul be under dash to the left of steering column, if you pull that and nothing pops, the cable is broke or stretched. if you look center top of grill there is the latch mechanism.. if you look to the right the cable goes into the engine bay.. you need to get under truck and stick your arm up and find that cable.. now you gotta pull, jerk, and or snatch it till it pops.. once it does to the left center under hood there is a lever you need to push up... hope this helps!
