Greetings! I aquired a supposively low miles '78 1.8 4spd a few weeks ago which the seller had planned to hot rod. It is untouched mechanically and a good runner but quick & dirty bondo paint job over lots of rust. And apparently was flooded: otherwise nice carpet was wet & rotting the floor, cloudy diff and trans oil, seat belt buzzer circuit shorted out causing various elect problems.
I'm working through those issues and eventually would like to convert the diff to limited-slip or locker. I would really appreciate information on upgrades to the stock axle.
